Brian Hughes MA MBE

Brian is Proprietor and Principal Solicitor of Hughes and Co. He is a well respected member of the local community who has built the reputation of the company through his open, honest and friendly approach.

Brian was educated at Brentwood School and Downing College, Cambridge. He qualified in January 1965 and has specialised in Conveyancing (Domestic and Commercial), Probate and Company Law since 1989. Brian was awarded MBE in January 1995 for Services to the Community. He is a Member of the Council of the Law Society and is currently President of the Mid Essex Law Society. Pat Astell Wood LLB

Pat was admitted as a solicitor in April 1990 and has extensive experience of dealing with a wide range of conveyancing matters including residential sales and purchases, commercial property, and landlord and tenant work. Pat specialises in Domestic Conveyancing matters.

Lee Hibell BSc

Lee is experienced in all matters relating to Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney (formerly Enduring Powers of Attorney). Lee was born in Essex and was awarded the Royal Humane Society Award whilst working for the London Ambulance Service. He is a student member of the Solicitors for the Elderly and is experienced in administering the affairs of those no longer able to do so for themselves. You are invited to meet Lee to discuss your Will, Probate matters, Change of Name, Lasting Power of Attorney, existing EPAs or the Court of Protection. Appointments are completely confidential.
